Message From Advisor

It gives me great pleasure to write few words for the college. Initially, there were only two existing colleges in the capital and many aspiring students were turned down for admission, and most could not effort to go outside of the state for further education. With this challenging need the college was established under the name, “Mountain View Christian College,” in Kohima the capital of Nagaland in 1991. The college was given affiliation by North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) in 1993. Today the Nomenclature of the college is, “The College of Arts and Technology.

The college was established for co-educational and strictly for boarders only. The aim of the college was not only to impart secular education but also teach the students to know God and His principles to serve the state with honesty and integrity. It has been a personal joy to see many graduates from this college move into different professionals with the commitment of showing godliness in their given assignments.

In 2018, some likeminded visionary aspirants from my village became a part of the college as shareholders to take this institute to a higher level for the benefit of the students and the community. The college has been relocated to a beautiful 16 acres of land at  NERHE PHEZHA which is about 12 KM from the Capital Kohima.

The college is headed by a qualified Ph.D holder as a full time Principal, and the teaching faculty consists of qualified Asst. Professors in all the departments. The college also will be introducing skill training and job oriented courses soon. The college has been functioning under the guidelines of the Nagaland University norms till date.

 I thank and Praise the Lord that, inspite of the untold challenges faced by the college, God continues to be the strongest pillar and success of this institute till date.
